The title of this exhibition is “Here or There” (這裡、那裡 / פה או שם).  The exhibition consists of two series of photographs, one is of street scenes in Israel, another of street scenes in Macau. The two series of images are showcased alongside one another in pairs: one photo taken in Israel is juxtaposed by a similar photo taken in Macau.  The photographs create a visual diary of daily scenes that I encountered on the streets of Israel and Macau.  In each pair of photographs, visual similarities and differences are identified and drawn, mirroring the environmental surroundings and the way of life that hold up to their existence and cultural identity. The idea is not to draw direct comparisons between the two cultures, as such superficial comparison could not unfold the richness of these two cultures. Instead, I hope these photographs will pique the viewers’ curiosity and initiate dialogues between the two cultures.

「這裡、那裡」展示了兩輯照片，一組是來自以色列的街景，另一組是澳門的街景。當中每張以色列的照片都與另一張澳門的照片被配對成雙，以二聯幅的形式展示。這些照片都是我在兩地的視覺日記，記錄了我在兩地遇到的人與事物。我把兩地的照片編放在一起的用意不是要把兩個文化作比較，而是希望透過這種方式引起觀眾的好奇，在兩地照片之間有形無形的聯繫中，對這兩個文化之間的相同與差異提出疑問或作出思考。

‫שם התערוכה הוא “פה או שם” (這裡、那裡). התערוכה מורכבת משתי סדרות צילומים, סדרה אחת היא של סצנות רחוב בישראל, השנייה של סצנות רחוב במקאו. שתי הסדרות מוצגות זו לצד זו בזוגות: תמונה אחת שצולמה בישראל מוצגת במקביל לתמונה דומה שצולמה במקאו. הצילומים יוצרים יומן ויזואלי של סצנות יומיומיות בהן נתקלתי ברחובות ישראל ומקאו. בכל זוג של תמונות, אפשר למצוא דמיון חזותי כמו גם הבדלים המשקפים את הסביבה, דרך החיים, והזהות התרבותית. הרעיון הוא לא לערוך השוואה ישירה בין שתי תרבויות, כי השוואה שטחית כזאת לא עושה צדק עם העושר של שתי התרבויות הללו. במקום זאת, אני מקווה שהתמונות האלו יעוררו את העניין והסקרנות של הצופים ויתרמו לקידום דיאלוגים בין שתי התרבויות.‬
